You filled my days with rainbow lights,
Fairytales and sweet dream nights,
A kiss to wipe away my tears,
Gingerbread to ease my fears.
You gave the gift of life to me
And then in love, you set me free.
I thank you for your tender care,
For deep warm hugs and being there.
I hope that when you think of me
A part of you
You’ll always see.

Divine Love

The presence of the Mary’s love was so prevalent everywhere we went. The churches protrayed such a beautiful representations of her. As I was releasing my beliefs that keep me from loving myself and others, it was extraordinary to feel her presence. I saw how often my self-judgment keeps me small and limited from the abundant Good that God has to offer. My intention is to not forget this powerful message.

Love as Intention

What a powerful Speaking with Intentions class ! We spent a majority of time discussing emotions. Often times we speak ‘off the cuff’ and in response to something or someone that has stirred up our emotions. As we deepen in spiritual practices we become an observer to emotions. The emotions we feel can give us information about our beliefs based on our past experiences. By spending time in meditation and journaling we can identify the experiences that caused the beliefs and have a greater understanding of our feelings and compassion for ourselves.

We also talked about setting intentions for our speaking. So that we speak from a loving centered place and not one of reaction.

In the book, The Prospering Power of Love, Catherine Ponder states, “As you begin developing love from within outward, you are truly proving your method to be spiritual, scientific, and satisfying. You no longer feel at the mercy of people, situations, and conditions. You become master of your world and free from hurt, fear, disappointment and disillusionment.”

Love is truly a powerful intention to speak from.

Judging blocks Love

I judged someone recently. I thought she wasn’t doing what she agreed to do and so I emailed and told her what I thought. She called and graciously thanked me for checking in on her. She told me her grandfather became very ill and she had to take him to the hospital. Needless to say, I felt pretty bad. Instead of truly checking in to see how she was, I just judged her.

Righteousness can be an ugly thing. It creates separation and division. It blocks the flow of love. By stopping the flow of love, it stops the flow of Good for everyone. I learned a valuable lesson.
