Before we can receive love we have to be love. The place we begin is with ourselves and our sense of self-worth. Self-worth is a compilation of our sense of value, worth and deservedness in the world. When our self-worth is diminished we have an exaggerated sense of ‘there’s not enough.’ So we want those around us to give us more. We give more expecting to get more. The hole is never filled. People’s response to us becomes our source instead of trusting in our inherent Divinity.
